The Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)
represent a valid and reliable method of evaluating the progress and
development of students. The twelve levels provide a means to evaluate
language skills from complete beginners to mastery.
The main advantage of this system is that it provides the motivation to advance in the study of English by means of small steps, thus allowing students to gauge their own progress.
The structure of the levels and their correspondence with the Common European Framework for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment are shown in the following table:

Trinity is the evalaution system adopted for the students on the English Summer Course London 2008 organised by Dixon Formación. During their stay in
London the students obtain sufficient knowledge to advance a complete level, and actually undertake the exam in
London during the course.
