ENGLISH EXAMS: TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language)
The TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is an exam organised by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) that evaluates the capacity of an individual to use and understand Amercian English in an Academic setting.
It is the access test for foreign students at many American
universities. More than 6000 institutions and agencies in 110 countries employ
the TOEFL as part fo their selection process.
The TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is an Internet-based test (Internet-based Test o iBT)
with four parts: reading, speaking, listening and writing. The score
required by Amercian universities is 550 points (out of a maximum of
660). Scores are valid for two years.
