Hànyu Shuipíng Kaoshì (HSK) 汉语水平考试
The Chinese Proficiency Test, or Hànyu Shuipíng Kaoshì (HSK), consists of a series of exams designed to evaluate the linguistic competence of non-native speakers of Chinese. The State Committee for the Chinese Proficiency Test (SCCPT) is responsible for organising this exam. It evaluates the ability of candidates to use the Chinese language in communicative activities and their comprehension in education institutions, companies and other organisations.
The HSK has the following levels:
- HSK Basic
- HSK Elementary-Intermediate
- HSK Advanced
- HSK for Young People
- HSK for Business
- HSK for Secretaries
- HSK for Tourism
After 20 years of development, the HSK is now the world’s leading Chinese exam: by the end of 2003, more than 300,000 foreign candidates had sat the exam.
The Hànyu Shuipíng Kaoshì is one of the Chinese Exam Preparation Courses that Dixon Formación offers within its In-company Chinese Courses and Intensive Chinese Courses.
