ENGLISH SUMMER COURSES 2009 - LONDON - BRISTOL - ENGLAND
Dixonformación is the language training department of Valencia-based company Dixon Servicios Lingüísticos. Run by Annelise Grisard, who has more than fifteen years of experience in the teaching of English and the organisation of language courses for young people in England, our aim lies in providing English courses which satisfy the requirements not only of our students, but also of their parents. Consequently, our programmes are based on three fundamental objectives:
- To provide our students with an enjoyable, enriching experience.
- To ensure that our students make the most of their three-week stay in England and that their progress is tangible.
- To provide our students' parents with the reassurance that their children are under the supervision and responsibility of a professional team throughout their stay (1 adult for each eight students).
The majority of organisations offering courses of this nature programme study periods during the mornings and optional excursions during the afternoons, the cost of which is not included in the overall course price. When not involved in these activities, students spend their free time together, unsupervised and, obviously, speaking in their own language.
For these reasons, Dixonformación has developed a specific programme designed to respond to your expectations:
Our students are supervised by our team from nine in the morning until six in the evening, six days a week. (+ information)
For summer 2009 we have introduced a series of interesting innovations to our programme, including the transfer of our English course in London to Whitgift School, located in a 20-hectare park and equipped with its own gymnasium and indoor swimming pool. Additionally, and at the request of our more "veteran" students, we are organising a new English course in Bristol. Our new course will take place at Saint-Ursula's School, which is equipped with magnificent installations and located in one of the city's most exclusive neighbourhoods.
Finally, we would like to mention that we produce a film each year showing the best moments of each course. Available in DVD format, copies are available to all our students and upon request.
