SPECIFICATIONS OF OUR ENGLISH COURSE IN BRISTOL
OFFICIAL EXAM: TRINITY COLLEGE
All the students of our English summer courses receive preparation for the Trinity College English exam. The majority of the students who attend private language schools during the school year are familiar with this exam and its content. All the teachers that participate in our English course in Bristol have ample experience in preparing students for this exam and are therefore perfectly familiar with helping students attain results during a 3-week course that they would otherwise require a full academic year to obtain.
TIMETABLE
9:00 - 13:30 ENGLISH CLASSES: 20 hours per week. Interactive classes. Maximum of 12 students per class.
13:30 - 15:30 LUNCH: We know from experience that the traditional English packed lunch, that is to say, a sandwich and a piece of fruit, is not greatly appreciated by many foreign students. Thus, with the exception of the excursions, our students are provided with meals each day in the school's restaurant.
15:30 - 16:45 ACTIVITIES: In contrast to the majority of organisations offering English summer courses, our students spend their afternoons involved in leisure activities that are carried out in English: workshops, songs, theatre, visits to museums, sports activities, etc.
19:00 - 22:00 EVENINGS: On Tuesday evenings our students visit an ice-skating rink until 22:00, at which time they are collected by their host families.
EXCURSIONS
Three excursions (Saturdays) + 3 visits to museums (Wednesdays).

SPORTS
Basketball, volleyball, football, swimming, tennis, table tennis, aerobics, etc.
ACCOMMODATION
The students' contact with a host family during their stay in England is a key aspect of their language learning and enables them to practise the skills learnt in class. That is why we have chosen this formula instead of providing accommodation in residential centres in which the students tend to employ their own language more than English. Naturally, over the course of several years Dixon Formación has developed a relationship of trust with our host families. They represent the base of our programme, providing our students with comfortable accommodation and offering their full collaboration throughout the course. Our students have breakfast and dinner with their families, whilst lunch is provided in the school restaurant.
CERTIFICATE
We issue each student with a course certificate reflecting their attendance, effort and interest.
TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON OFFICIAL EXAM
Upon conclusion of our English summer course in Bristol, an examiner from Trinity College London examines those students that have chosen to sit this exam and which our teachers consider as sufficiently prepared. In the courses held so far, 95% of our students have sat the exam, with 96% of this figure having obtained positive results.
END OF COURSE PARTY
At the end of each course we organise a buffet-party, to which the host families are invited. During the party, which takes place on the last Friday of the course, the students perform works and songs which they have prepared throughout their stay.
INSURANCE
All students are covered by health insurance and have permanent access to a G.P.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Our students travel to England in direct flights from Valencia and Alicante airports. Parents are thus able to both see their children off and collect them from the airport. If you wish to travel from another airport, please contact Dixon Formación.

In addition to the flights between Spain and England, all travel costs within the United Kingdom are included in the course price.
