For the summer of 2008, Dixon Formación
offers an English language course in London, England for young people aged 14 to 18 years old. The three-week course will enable students to develop and consolidate their knowledge of the English language and culture in an enjoyable, interactive manner.
Our English summer course programme includes:
Weekdays

Mornings: 15 hours of English classes per week

Afternoons: A range of activities to be carried out entirely in English: grammar workshops, multimedia activities, theatre courses, talks, songs.

Accommodation with English family
The students' contact with host families during their stay in England represents a key aspect of their
language learning, as well as enabling them to practice the skills learnt in class. Additionally, by staying with English families, students are removed from the possibility of speaking in their own language, a situation that very often occurs in residential centres. Naturally, over the course of several years, Dixon Formación has developed a relationship of trust with the host families.
Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)
During their stay in London, the students obtain sufficient knowledge to advance a complete level in their knowledge of the English language, thus enabling to sit the Trinity GESE examination during our course.
