CAMBRDIGE CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH (CPE)
The Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, or CPE, is the fifth level in the suite of exams organised by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). It corresponds to level C2 (Mastery) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment.
Certificate of Proficiency in English exam candidates are able to:
- Easily understand practically everything they read and hear in English.
- Summarise, orally or in writing, information from a range of sources and reproduce the basic and logical argument of this information in a coherent manner.
- Fluently, spontaneously and precisely express themselves in English and qualify opinions, even in complex matters.
